Hear Liederabend at Holmes Lounge Oct. 10

Mezzo-soprano Leah Summers (right) and pianist Charis Dimaris will perform a Liederabend at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, in Holmes Lounge. Literally translated as “evening of song,” Liederabend refers to a recital given by a singer and pianist, particularly of works by 19th-century Austrian or German composers. FULL STORY

Wrighton-led NRC committee tech-transfer report released

Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton has led a National Research Council (NRC) team of 18 academic and industrial experts who have reviewed laws on publicly funded university research and intellectual property rights. Applications open for Diversity and Inclusion Grants proposals

Faculty and administrators are invited to submit proposals for program initiatives that strengthen and promote diversity and inclusion at WUSTL. The Advisory Committee for the Diversity and Inclusion Grants, which will review the proposals, is particularly interested in proposals that address work environment, recruitment and retention of diverse faculty and administrative staff, and cultural competence. Retired staff members recognized for their service
